Iran has welcomed the cessation of hostilities in Karabakh

“Iran welcomes the cessation of hostilities between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, as a step towards peace”, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on his Twitter page.
Iran has also called on its neighbors to start a substantive dialogue. Zarif noted that they appreciate the constructive efforts of Russia.
